This limited edition Conklin Toledo fountain pen is made of stunning blue resin with added shimmer from Jonathon Brooks of the Carolina Pen Company, complemented with gold trim. It fills via standard international converter or cartridge (both included). This color is very limited.

The Toledo silhouette is defined by its balanced, gently tapered profile and confident cylindrical form. The design features a straight barrel that subtly narrows toward both ends, creating a harmonious, streamlined shape that feels substantial yet refined in hand. The proportioned cap mirrors the barrel’s contour, ensuring visual symmetry and comfortable posting.

The Conklin Toledo fountain pen is offered with your choice of a reliable, smooth-writing German made JoWo #6 gold-colored steel nib in extra-fine, fine, medium, broad, or 1.1mm stub, or the new JoWo Omniflex flexible steel nib for variation in line width.

Our note about the JoWo Omniflex nib: This flex nib will allow you to experience more bounce and softness than writing with conventional nibs. You can achieve some line variation with a little additional downward pressure, to a point. We recommend flexing the nib to about twice the line width that you would see without using any pressure. Please take care to avoid pressing too hard on the nib, as over-flexing could prevent the tines from returning fully to their original position and decrease or stop your ink flow.

How do I use this pen with ink cartridges?

A cartridge is small, disposable, sealed plastic reservoir that holds fountain pen ink. These come pre-filled with ink, and typically you just push to insert them into place and you'll be ready to write!

This pen uses standard international ink cartridges, a common size which is available in many colors from various brands.

How do I use a converter?

A converter goes in the place of where the ink cartridge would normally go. From there, you can fill your fountain pen from bottled ink.

A converter is a detachable and refillable ink reservoir that allows you to use bottled ink in a cartridge-accepting pen. Typically you will install the converter into the grip section, dip the nib/feed into the ink, and twist or pull the converter knob to draw ink into the converter.

How do I clean this fountain pen?

It mostly comes down to flushing out the pen with water, and sometimes a little bit of pen flush if the ink is really stuck.

We recommend a good cleaning every 2 weeks, and any time you change ink colors. Water will usually do the trick, but we recommend you use our Goulet Pen Flush if the ink has been left in the pen for a while and could have dried up, or when you’re switching ink colors.
